Leadership Ambassadors

The Area Leadership Ambassador program was started in the summer of 2019.  The purpose and intent of this program was to provide a leadership opportunity for FFA members who had previously attended ALC, but were not serving as district, area, state officers, current workshop presenters and who could help maximize the experiences for our members.  Applications must come from students who have already registered for ALC.  In addition, Leadership Ambassadors will be an integral part of helping our groups of conference attendees be punctual, organized and bonding as a group.  All these things will make ALC run smoother, safer and therefore more beneficial for all present.  Beyond the awesome opportunity to help serve our area, you will also be able to put this down in your record book as an area level leadership opportunity!

Expectations before applying:
1.  Must be in attendance the entire Leadership conference ~ June 18-20, 2024 ~ Clarendon Junior College
2.  Will serve as a group leader for a designated color group.
3.  Will assist the group with chant, flag and encourage teamwork, camaraderie and spirit.
4.  Will serve as a guide to get color groups to locations in a timely and respectful manner.
5.  Will help group members when they have questions
6.  Will assist group in being accountable during all workshop and general sessions.
7.  Will seek the immediate assistance of advisors, should situations arise that you are unable to handle.
8.  Optional to also serve at the Greenhand Leadership Conference in September and Area Convention in May.

The application will close on Thursday, May 23 @ 5:00 p.m. and you and your advisor will be notified shortly after.  Thanks for being willing to serve your Area association.  For questions, please contact Ms. Howard, AST at Lubbock-Cooper, Mr. Logemann, AST at Panhandle or area1ffa@gmail.com.
