For more than 92 years, the Texas FFA has been empowering the dreams of Texas young people. Our students are solving real-world problems and are ready for tomorrow today. The FFA journey is enhanced by the chance to wear the Official FFA Jacket. We appreciate Texas Kubota Dealers joining us to help deserving Texas FFA members receive their first FFA jacket.
Two Ways to Earn an FFA Jacket
1.) Nominate an FFA Member - If there is a student that may not be able to afford a jacket, you can nominate them by completing the form at https://www.livelikejohnny.com/jackets-for-johnny-application/
2.) Earn an FFA Jacket through a Kubota Dealership - We are honored to have collaborated with Kubota Tractor Corporation to provide deserving Texas FFA members their first FFA jacket. Just like hard-working Kubota tractors ... the students have to earn the jacket. Our collaboration is building the confidence of students while opening doors of opportunity. All you need to do is call your local dealership and schedule a time to recite the creed. Learn the steps to earning an FFA Jacket below:
We are excited to continue our relationship with our friends at Kubota. Texas Kubota dealers are teaming up with the Live Like Johnny Organization to provide deserving Texas FFA members a chance to receive their first FFA jacket.
STEPS TO SUCCESS
1. A first-year or new FFA member in need of a jacket will reach out to their local Kubota dealership and schedule a time to come by and recite the FFA creed. Find those here: https://www.kubotausa.com/find-a-dealer
2. The teacher, parent, or other student will video or take a photo of the student reciting the creed at the Kubota dealership and share it with the local Kubota dealer and the Texas FFA Foundation (info@texasffafoundation.org). You can also tag via social media.
3. After successfully reciting the creed, the dealer will contact the Live Like Johnny Organization and fill out the form for the student’s jacket – the form can be accessed at: http://www.livelikejohnny.com/jackets-from-johnny-and-kubota-dealers-jacket-request/
4. The student’s jacket will be shipped to their local FFA chapter. The jacket will come with congratulatory notes from Kubota and the Live Like Johnny Organization.

*Jackets are provided from the Live Like Johnny Organization. Students receive: FFA Jacket, FFA tie, embroidery, and congratulatory note. The cost will be divided between the local Kubota dealer and Kubota Division.
